The GEARS-IDS, Invention and Design System, is a hands-on platform for science and engineering. The kit includes gear head motors, pneumatics, heavy duty structural components, wheels, gears, sprockets, chain, custom electronics, battery, charger, fasteners and more, all packaged in its own storage container. Simply by using basic hand tools and the GEARS-IDS industrial strength components, students transform abstract science and math concepts into complex mechanical subassemblies and game playing machines.
