This month, our main focus is on gym equipment. Careful athletic equipment selection will not only maximize your students' performance, but it will keep them safe, too. There are many decisions involved with equipping your school gym, from selecting particular brands of equipment to choosing all of the particular components of a gymnasium.

Our gym equipment section includes information on selecting basketball equipment, performing a physical education program evaluation, choosing an athletic floor, and purchasing a gym floor cover.

Speaking of athletic equipment, I wanted to pass along information on a worthwhile program for Christian schools. The National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) Equipment Program provides free athletic equipment (through the annual NCSAA Equipment Giveaway) to schools nationally.

The NCSAA Equipment Program is one means by which Christian schools can help other Christian schools in a very easy and practical way. Schools that have usable equipment they'd like to donate (balls, game equipment, practice jerseys, uniforms, etc) can donate the equipment to other schools that can use it. For more information on this program, visit www.ncsaa.org.
