March 2010 Editor's Letter
By: Jill Pinheiro
Five years ago, our company was publishing our parent magazine, Religious Product News, and we were looking for our next venture. Our extensive research into potential markets revealed that there wasn't a publication dedicated to Christian schools and that this market was being underserved. As a product of a Christian school myself, I was particularly excited about the direction we were taking.
To quote Loren in his premiere issue letter, "Christian schools face challenges and operating issues that are unique to private institutions, and, further, faith-based private institutions, compared to public schools. We recognized that a need existed to provide the Christian school market with a one-stop source to all of the product and services you need to effectively, efficiently, and successfully run your facility. We know that you're concerned about being good stewards of the funds entrusted to you, so we will help bring you cost-effective purchasing solutions that don't sacrifice on quality."
Thus, the magazine you hold in your hands was born. Five years later, we're thrilled to continue serving as the ultimate solution to your purchasing needs.
I hope you enjoy our special anniversary celebration, which features a compilation of our best tips across four of our most popular topics over the past five years: classroom furniture, curriculum, software, and construction.
Thank you for inviting us into your educational facility each month. I know I speak for everyone on staff when I say that you all have made this experience so fulfilling, both personally and professionally.
Please continue to let me know your thoughts about the magazine. I can be reached at jill@cspmag.com.
